Our Story

The CellarSi project is a labor of love, envisioned by Genaro Gallo, a passionate sommelier from Spain now calling California home.

Genaro's journey in gastronomy began at the tender age of 15. After excelling in Restaurant Management, he seized the incredible opportunity to work at Mugaritz, one of the world's most esteemed restaurants.

His adventures took him from the heart of the Basque Country to the bustling streets of Madrid, where he joyfully opened Berria Wine Bar.


Three years ago, Genaro began his journey in the United States and now manages the wine cellar at Eight Tables Restaurant, “World’s Greatest Restaurant by Times Magazine”. He is also fortunate to serve as a judge for the Sommelier Choice Awards and at Somm School.
